Scope and operator

This policy describes how the MindVoice website and practice platform handle personal information. The operator is Guangzhou Yuewen Technology Co.,Ltd (广州月纹科技有限公司). Contact us at developer@mindvoice.cn. Our registered address is on the About & contact page.

Browsing the website

You can browse this website without signing in. The server processes request information, including IP address, browser details, requested path, time and response status, to deliver pages, maintain the service and investigate faults.

The website does not request microphone access, record your voice or use advertising or third-party behavioral analytics. Audio clips are synthesized samples. Text you enter in the sample proposal board stays in your browser. When you change language, temporary storage in the current tab passes the example state to the next page; it is not uploaded to the practice platform.

Using the practice platform

The platform processes the phone number used to sign in, account details and sign-in state to identify the account and provide its practice records. Use your own account and avoid including identity document numbers, home addresses or other people’s private information in practice.

Training automatically saves your original recordings, typed text, speech transcripts, AI-generated text and audio, practice stages and events, and model requests, responses, usage and errors. These records support the conversation, playback, record verification and troubleshooting. There is currently no option to turn off practice-record retention.

Microphone permission is used for spoken answers. You can revoke it in browser settings; training that requires recording will then be unavailable. Recordings may contain voice characteristics and personal information you choose to say. Practice in a quiet, private setting.

AI services and access

The platform uses Alibaba Cloud Model Studio for speech recognition, language generation and speech synthesis. Relevant audio, answer text and context from the current practice session are sent to that service to transcribe answers and generate spoken responses. Records are available to the account that owns them. Authorized operations staff may access relevant records to provide the service, respond to support requests or investigate faults. We do not publish your practice recordings on this website.

Storage and browser data

Practice records are stored on the server for continued playback and review. The platform currently has no automatic deletion after a fixed number of days. Contact the email below for deletion, account closure or questions about retention.

Your browser stores sign-in state, language preferences, practice events and recordings waiting to upload. Some learning content, including personal materials, vocabulary and collections, is also stored in the current browser. Signing out, clearing browser data and deleting server records are different actions. Clearing local data does not automatically delete uploaded records.

Your rights and contact

Under applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction or deletion of personal information, or withdraw consent. We accept record deletion and account closure requests at developer@mindvoice.cn and verify the relevant account and request before handling them under applicable law. Describe your request without emailing passwords or complete identity documents.

Stopping use or revoking microphone permission does not automatically erase saved practice records. Where information must be retained by law, we will explain why and restrict further processing.

Young users

MindVoice is intended for high-school students preparing for undergraduate English interviews. Users under the age of majority should read this policy with a parent or guardian and use the service with their guidance.

Processing personal information of a user under 14 requires a parent or guardian’s consent. A guardian can contact the operator at developer@mindvoice.cn to ask about processing or make a personal information rights request.

Policy changes

We will update this policy when processing purposes, information types, uses or your rights change. Where renewed consent is required by law, we will seek it before the relevant processing.
